What to Expect

Students can expect to spend approximately four (4) hours per day in a classroom environment, with a further four (4) hours per day in active prayer ministry.

Outside the classroom, students will have three primary areas of exposure:

  • You will find yourself part of a team leading prayer sessions in the prayer room, as well as taking prayer into the public square.
  • Working together and encouraging fellow prayer school students in a lifestyle of prayer as we build Albania’s Gateway House of Prayer.
  • Hands-on training to facilitate the day to day operations of a house of prayer through prayer and hard work.

These times will include music, intercession, words of wisdom, words of knowledge, creative expression and other aspects of interacting with God.

Get Equipped to Build a House of Prayer

Building a house of prayer is hard work, and will also get to experience some of the efforts that go into making sustained, effective prayer a reality, so you can make it happen in your city. Logistics, hospitality, sound and atmosphere are all part of the process, and you will have the opportunity to participate in making it happen. We want you to have the tools and experiences so you can reproduce houses of prayer to impact your church, your city and your world for years to come.

Encounter
We believe that strategic prayer begin with encounter, so Incense and Fire places a strong emphasis on growing in intimacy with God – through His word, through music, and as a lifestyle.

Encourage
Incense and Fire School of Strategic Prayer is designed to encourage effective, fervent prayer in the body of Christ.

Equip
Our aim is not to prefer or promote one model over another, but to equip committed, devoted followers of Jesus to become those effective, righteous men and women of prayer in whatever prayer style they find appropriate to utilize in a given place, time or situation. Students will be exposed to a variety of styles, forms and models of prayer – an arsenal of divine weapons for advancing the Kingdom of God.

Engage
Prayer should be a lifestyle, both in the prayer room and “in the streets”. While we regard the ministry of the saints in worship before the Lord as essential to strategic prayer, we also embrace the call of Jesus to love one another and go into all the world and make disciples.
